I have found that essential oils and herbs contain many benefits for physical and emotional well being. In studying the use of herbs and essential oils, I am discovering how to take control of my well being and finding new ways to help others as well. It is very interesting to learn about the history and science behind all of this and how to put it to good use. 

It's pretty empowering to be better in touch with my body and be able to recognize when something is getting out of balance - and to be able to do something about it on my own! It is also pretty cool to be able to help my family and friends learn about these products and to see the differences it is making in their lives as well. Exploring these alternative remedies and eating habits has given me the incentive that I previously lacked to learn to eat healthier, and to explore better options for achieving balance in my life.

I use essential oil products, herbs, and cooking ingredients from companies that I know and trust. It is important to obtain your essential oils from reputable suppliers who test their oils for purity, provide safety information and have great customer service. It is equally important to purchase pure herbs, food and cooking ingredients that do not have hidden sugars, grains, and additives.

With worries about health care costs, I started to realize that I didn't know how to address any of our concerns other than by going to the doctor or heading to the drugstore. That was becoming frustrating and I wanted to find some better ways to to pursue getting and staying healthy. I realized that I didn't have much knowledge about how to prevent illness and diseases, or how to help my body heal itself. Or how to fight infection without wiping out all the good bacteria in my body. Or, how to get emotionally and physically healthy using natural alternatives to standard health care. 

Then I heard about essential oils and herbs... Humans have been using plants as medicine for thousands of years, but I didn't realize that the oils from plants had so many health benefits. I first tried using essential oils to see if I could start sleeping better and I was amazed at how well they helped! And once I was getting better rest, I starting having more energy, I was more focused, and it gave me the incentive to start
eating healthier and lose weight. In this process I started learning about how beneficial it is to cut out all grains and sugars from my diet and it's amazing how much better I feel utilizing all of these things together.
